I'm... back?

Hey yo people! Well I've been enjoying my days at the training centre.

Things have been going pretty good for me in terms of exams and personal records from the trainers over there. Though I'm all drained everyday when I get home from my so called "work".

Oh, and the academy, is FREAKING COLD!!! They need to tune the central air conditioning down man!!! Anyways, I'll be getting me staff ID within the next few days or in a week's time. It'll be so cool!

There is however another exam coming up in a few days time, which will be based mostly only meals and drinks like wines (red, white, port, sparkling AKA champagne), liquors, liquours and the standard juices. This exam is so gonna be a tough one!

Here, some photos to share,

The bunch of girls I hang out most in the academy. Oh I've to "share" them with 1 other guy.

This was during our Aviation class, cool eh?

Our study group at Starbucks almost every night before a paper.

Fixed by a PROFESSIONAL

I finally got my hideous haircut by, ___, FIXED!

After consulting my grooming trainer to get a new cut, I went ahead with it yesterday! Went back to my very much trusted salon, Derrick & Team. "Whined" to Eddie (my regular guy) bout how the other sucker screwed my hair up.

1st question he asked me was, "junior cut ah?" What I answered, shocked him to the core as the guy is a professional stylist! Eddie even commented on that sucker screwing up a part of my hair, which Eddie did a good job fixing it.

The result, a very nicely, evenly cut hair. At least now I don't look like a fool. Oh yea, it cost me only RM 10! Whereas sucker charged me RM 21 for a "professional cut"!

Oh yea, I was like cursing and swearing bout sucker to a bunch of girls/stewardesses I hang out with in my class. Guess what, they said they don't know whats wrong with it haha! They think its fine and all with very minor hiccups. Which means I could've still picked girls up haha!

Amy (wai leng), Janiece, May Yan and Yvonne, you girls will finally get to see what a real professional stylist can do on Monday! ;)

Grave

This blog has now become a graveyard due to fatigue after coming back from training and nothing to blog about.

Anyways, grooming session ended today after 4 days. Got a crap haircut by a lousy stylist in USJ. So I'm gonna get it fixed by a REAL stylist for half the price I paid.

Ask me privately and I'll tell you which salon to avoid.

Restricted

Today was the 1st day of my training as a steward.

And they specifically emphasized on one rule, no posting anything bout Malaysia Airlines on blogs, facebook or any site on the internet.

So looks like there can't be any updates on my training for I don't wanna get a warning letter!

If I get fired, I'd have to pay RM 20k!!! So, no thank you! :D

But training was really fun today and as usual, I'm the youngest. ok thats all bye ;)

Success!

I can finally be considered as an Air Steward for Malaysia Airlines!

I recieved a call in the evening around 5.30 and didn't know who it was, cuz I didn't recognise the number. The caller then introduced herself as a staff of MAS and called to inform me I was selected for the JOB!!! I thought they would send me an email bout that. But all the better to get a call.

So she told me bout a contract briefing this coming Thursday regarding my bonding period and work contract. After she told me everything is to be said, I hung up and started jumping around the shop I work at like a crazy baboon! Kesian my colleagues who had to endure my monkey business.

So looks like I'll be putting my studies on hold and taking up the path of an air steward. Thanks to those who gave me their support and those who helped me through all the interviews with loads of advices.

On a different note, MU fans are just plain retarded. They're so darn arrogant bout their team and harp on other fans' losses or inability to win SOME games. Honestly I rarely see any other fans except for MU fans doing these kinda childish act. It is not the fans who are playing the game on the pitch is it? So quit acting like you are part of it! Bloody narrow minded people! I'm only writing this coz ONE MU fan started to pissed me off. You want a name? Sure! HE is one of the links on my blog.

No offence at all to the only 2 MU fans I respect, my mom and Vishal.

PS: I'm sorry GOD, for using so many foul words in one conversation with that idiot... It's been a while since I spammed all those words.

Happy Birthday... to ME!

At 12 midnight of 19 October 2009, Rae, Nat and Yee Mun came over to my place with a cheese cake with candles all lit on it.

Their plan kinda failed, according to me, coz I kinda knew they were coming from all the phone calls my brother was getting at that time of the night.

So we stood outside my place for a few minutes eating the cake they bought before heading out to A&W for supper!

Guess what, we chose a brilliant spot right under the air condition, so it was freaking COLD! We stayed there for almost an hour before our driver for the night, Natalie Teh Siew Po, sent us all home :D

Oh and looks like my birthday dinner with the parents gotta be postponed coz, the same people wants to take me out for dinner at some fancy Mexican place at Jaya One. Hope mom and dad wont mind?

Anyways, thanks everyone for the lovely, cute, lame, stupid, ridiculous and some, just plain hilarious wishes! Really appreciated it very much! :D

Happy Deepavali

Hey to all my Hindu friends out there, happy Deepavali guys!

I'm suppose to be at my neighbour's house now for makan and all, but when I got there, it was filled with kids (ages 16-17yrs)!

So, since there was no more place to sit, and since I didn't wanna feel lost, here I am now, back home killing some time before my next open house. I've go 3 all together today before heading back to work all the way in USJ.

Speaking of work, I think I'm gonna be quitting that job by the end of this month. Can't take my boss anymore, who recruited me cuz she really needed a helping hand, which I kindly agreed to. I wont go into any further details bout insulting her and all.

Which means, I'll be free from November the 1st onwards!

Good news, someone who was an ex cabin chief of MAS, said I've a very strong possibility of getting the job. So, see you guys onboard flight MH_ _ _ haha.

MAS Cabin Crew Interview

Day 1 of the interview was on the 10th of October. There were about 1200 candidates gunning for their rightful spot as an air steward.

On the MAS website, it said that registration opens at 8.30am. I got there at 8.35am and guess what, I was the 526th. Wonderful right? So basically my time there was spent waiting for my turn to be interviewed.

I got past the 1st round feeling both happy and sad. Happy for an obvious reason that I got through. Sad coz the friend I made over there, didn't get through and he really has a very bad financial problem. I only got home at 6pm.

So, they gave me an interview slip for the following day, 11th Oct. It was round 2. We didn't really have to wait that long this time, as we were allocated time slots for the interview. When they separated us into groups, I felt intimidated by 3 of 6 people in this group. Worst part was I knew I didn't deliver the points I wanted to. So I was really worried that I wont get it. Results time, a MAS staff pulled the group of us to one side. Told us only 2 of 6 got it. 1st name she mentioned, "DWAYNE". So there, round 2 over, PHEW!

Waited a few more minutes for round 3, final round. Sent us to the waiting room to wait for our turn. Then after about 15mins, they asked us to go for a lunch break... damn potong!!! After lunch we had to wait bout 10mins before we were asked to go in. Now, in this group, I felt competition from 2 of 5 guys in the group. But the best thing was, they might just choose us all.

So there, round 3 completed and they told us to wait for an Email by MAS a month from now. That Email would determine whether you see me on board and serving you or going back to Taylor's to continue my degree.

So pray that I'll get it? Thanks to those who supported me throughout! Appreciated it much and it helped.
